In the process of the sermon analysis, a list of lexeme-collocates or keywords, entering the conceptual field of &amp;quot;original sin&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;distress&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;repentance&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;punishment&amp;quot;, has been compiled. Based on the above list, such super-frequent lexeme-collocates as &amp;quot;God&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;world&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;repentance&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;death&amp;quot;, &amp;quot;life&amp;quot; , which are the cognitive dominants of the text under consideration, have been marked. The stylistic devices the author resorts to, have been c considered and compared. Discursive tendencies on the basis of discursive activation of the lexemes with a common seme have been revealed.
