The article deals with the structure of literary text representing some French historical realities of the late Middle Ages. The results of cognitive-hermeneutic analysis of the sphere of concepts in V. Hugo`s novel “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” are represented. The author reveals the multi-segmental nominative field of the concept “Paris Holyday”. The architectonics of this concept is studied as a unity of four segments such as a social segment, a temporal segment, a space segment and an ethno-segment. The author introduces some new terms into the term-base which include: (1) a multi-segmental model, (2) a socio-segment, (3) a temporal segment, (3) a space segment and (4) an ethno-segment. The results of the cognitive-comparative analysis of the literary model named “Paris Holyday” are represented. Three literary models of such concept in the original text and two texts translated into Russian and English are compared. The tendencies of cross-cultural adaptation of architectonics of the literary concept nominative field are identified. The specificity of translation of all four segments making the concept “Paris Holyday” is identified.
