LANGUAGE GAME AS AN ACTUAL TREND IN THE URBAN COMMUNICATION (ON THE MATERIALS OF THE CITY OF BELGOROD)
The article is devoted to the language game as the current trend in modern colloquial speech of the city of Belgorod. The author expresses the idea that a language game expresses one of the main properties of the human psyche – the ability to respond to various external and internal elements of the situation of communication. Material for the study consists of recordings of colloquial Russian speech in public transport and market, Belgorod, Tunikova S. V. explores features of language play and the functioning of its elements in speech but also affect the variety of spoken genres of urban communication, such as inviting, playful quoting, joking, playing with words, etc. the Author reveals the specificity of the language game as a form of verbal behavior, which creates a setting for a certain communicative effect achieved through unconventional use of language units, when there is a transformation of the form and content of linguistic units. Thus this work is a sort of experiment, finding the hidden reserves of the language and represents a form of creative self-realization of the personality of the speaker.
