THE AXIOLOGICAL SPECIFICITY OF THE CONCEPT POWER IN A SEMANTIC STRUCTURE OF THE SET EXPRESSIONS IN ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN
The article views the axiological potentials of the set-expressions explicating the concept POWER in modern English and Russian. Both common conceptual value characteristic features of POWER of the said languages and their national and cultural specific peculiarities have been noted. In general, both language collectives possess a homogeneous attitude to the authorities which is determined by universal association of POWER irrespectively of a certain culture. It has been found out that such homogeneity is determined by curtain axiological factors, as POWER is generally thought as a certain value.
